The quality of this product meets or exceeds Federal Specifications that allow for small bubbles (smaller than 1/4" in diameter) minor waviness, and hairline scratches that are inherent in the manufacturing of glass. (Scratches must be able to be viewed from a distance of 3 feet when the glass is in a vertical position to be deemed unacceptable by industry standards, ASTM Designation C1036-91.) The nature of handcrafted glass may have any of these imperfections, which will serve to emphasize the individuality of your piece. As with all fine glass, care must be exercised in cleaning to ensure years of lasting beauty.
