GermShield fabric treatment technology is found in everyday safe household products like sunscreens, bandages and deodorants. Having these bedding layers closer to the sleeper, the mattress cover is placed between the sheet and mattress protector while the pillow cover is placed beneath the pillowcase. Proven to continuously inhibit certain germs and bacteria by 99 percent in 2 hours. GermShield is an antimicrobial treatment added to textiles to protect the treated article itself from contamination and is not intended to cure or prevent diseases. This product does not achieve the same level of efficacy as an EPA registered disinfectant, it is only intended to provide supplemental protection between routine applications of EPA registered disinfectants.
